Venue Overview

Location: Located in Teine Ward, Sapporo City, Hokkaido, about a 40-minute drive from downtown Sapporo, and approximately 7 minutes from the Teine Interchange, making it easily accessible.

History: Former venue for the 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympics and the 2017 Asian Winter Games, featuring Olympic-level ski slopes suitable for skiers of all levels.

Altitude: The summit reaches over 1,000 meters, offering a panoramic view of Sapporo City and the Ishikari Bay.

Snow Quality: Renowned for its high-quality powder snow unique to Hokkaido, with abundant snowfall.

Operating Hours: The 2024-2025 ski season is expected to open in mid-November 2024 (subject to snow conditions), with the highland area operating until early May, while the Olympia area typically closes earlier.

Sapporo Teine Ski Resort is divided into two main areas interconnected by the TEINE GONDOLA, integrated into a single ski resort in 2005, with approximately 15 slopes totaling about 6 kilometers in length.
