Shenzhen Qianhai Huafa Ice and Snow World boasts the world’s largest indoor ski resort, breaking the geographical limitation of no snow in the south. The entire venue is built to international competition standards with 5 professionally graded ski runs: a wide, gentle beginner run (green run) that provides an excellent foundation space for novices and instruction; an intermediate run (red run) that combines slope and width, serving as the perfect training ground for intermediate skiers to practice smooth S-turns and advanced gliding; and an international-level advanced run (black run) that leads straight to high altitude with a vertical drop of 83 meters, designed for advanced players to challenge extreme speed and steep slopes. Whether you are a skiing beginner or a professional enthusiast, you can find your own unique snow-riding fun here.
Hidden Beneath the World's Largest Indoor Ski Resort: The Brand-New "Extreme Sports District"
100,000㎡ Ice & Snow World, Setting Four "World Records"
Qianhai Ice & Snow World covers approximately 100,000 square meters, far surpassing Guangzhou’s Sunac Ski Resort, making it the new ice-and-snow landmark of South China. The venue features five professional-grade ski runs, two terrain parks, and one snow-play zone, with a total run length of 1,569 meters. The longest run measures 463 meters and offers an 83-meter vertical drop, catering to both professional athletes and recreational visitors.
To help guests reach the slopes quickly, the facility is equipped with two four-person chairlifts capable of transporting about 3,200 people per hour, ensuring high transport efficiency. In addition, one single-person magic carpet (electric conveyor) and three double-person magic carpets significantly reduce waiting times.
30,000㎡ Super-Sensory Park: Shenzhen’s New Landmark for Extreme Sports
Another highlight of Huafa Ice & Snow World is the “Super-Sensory Park,” which integrates surfing, deep diving, rock climbing, cycling, and other sports experiences. The indoor wave pool maintains a constant 28 °C year-round, simulating various wave patterns and providing professional protective gear and a safety pool suitable for all skill levels. The deep-diving area spans 8,000 cubic meters with a depth of 33 meters, a paradise for professional divers.
In addition, the Super-Sensory Park includes a five-story, 50,000-square-meter commercial space combining retail stores, sports-experience venues, pet-friendly zones, and multiple dining options, allowing visitors to enjoy shopping and dining alongside their sports activities.
